Summary:To preferably secure performance and durability of a fuel cell stack by appropriately keeping the fuel cell stack's temperature, while improving efficiency of a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes: a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature correlating to a fuel cell stack's temperature; and a control device that when a first condition is established during rated operation of the fuel cell stack, makes a target ratio for a steam carbon ratio of a reformer be smaller than a predetermined reference ratio to adjust an amount of supply of vapor to the reformer so that the steam carbon ratio agrees with the target ratio and adjusts an amount of supply of cathode gas to the fuel cell stack so that the temperature detected by the temperature sensor agrees with a target temperature corrected on the basis of the target ratio for the steam carbon ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】燃料電池システムの効率を向上させつつ、燃料電池スタックの温度を適正に維持して当該燃料電池スタックの性能や耐久性を良好に確保する。【解決手段】燃料電池システムは、燃料電池スタックの温度に相関する温度を検出する温度センサと、燃料電池スタックの定格運転中に第1条件が成立した際に、改質器におけるスチームカーボン比の目標比を予め定められた基準比よりも小さくしてスチームカーボン比が目標比に一致するように改質器への水蒸気の供給量を調整すると共に、温度センサにより検出される温度がスチームカーボン比の目標比に基づいて補正された目標温度に一致するように燃料電池スタックへのカソードガスの供給量を調整する制御装置とを含む。【選択図】図1
