Abstract To provide a vehicle seat lock device capable of easily locking a seat back to an initial stage lock position.SOLUTION: A seat lock device 1 fixing an angle of a seat back 100 has: a lock claw 4 locking the device to a striker S by a movement in a height direction; a hindering member 7 hindering lock of the lock claw 4 by abutment in the height direction; and a link mechanism 10 moving the hindering member 7 from a lock hindering position to an allowing position by a pressing force from the striker S as the seat back 100 tilts and moves to an initial stage lock position.
