Abstract | To provide a radar apparatus of a novel structure that enables a reduction in radar azimuth detection errors and a reduction in manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: Radar apparatuses 1, 101 emitting an electro-magnetic wave to detect an object existing within a predetermined detection range, comprise an antenna unit 2 and electro-magnetic wave reflection units 4, 400, respectively. The antenna unit emits the electro-magnetic wave. The electro-magnetic wave reflecting unit has a reflective surface that is disposed around the antenna unit and outside the detection range and progressively changes in height with respect to an installation surface 44 of the radar apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
