Abstract | To provide a sheet conveying device and an image forming device capable of preventing a double-feeding detection sensor thereof from performing an erroneous determination caused by an influence from the outside of the device.SOLUTION: On a sheet conveying path from a feed roller 201 of a sheet conveying device 100 to a resister roller pair 205, transmitting means 301 and receiving means 302 which form a double-feeding detection sensor for detecting the double-feeding by irradiating an ultrasonic wave to a sheet are disposed below and above a conveyance guide 203, respectively. A conductive shield member 600 is disposed between the receiving means 302 and an exterior part 211 of the sheet conveying device 100. The conductive shield member 600 is larger than the receiving means 302 in a plan view from above and is disposed so as to cover the receiving means 302, and thereby the reduction in detection accuracy of double-feeding caused by an influence from the outside of the device is prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
