To provide a cover body for a catch basin, that can prevent a part of a main body from falling off even if the main body is split due to a crack.SOLUTION: A cover body 1 for a catch basin comprises a plate-shaped body 2, and a reinforcing layer 4 provided on at least a part of a lower surface of the main body 2. The reinforcing layer 4 is made of a reinforcing material having strength capable of resisting the split of a part of the main body 2 provided with the reinforcing layer 4. The reinforcing layer resists the split of the main body when the main body is cracked. The reinforcing layer prevents a part of the main body from splitting and falling off from an original position and falling into the catch basin. A function as the cover body can be maintained even after the main body is cracked, since the reinforcing layer maintains an integral form of the main body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 本体部が亀裂により分裂したとしても、その一部が脱落して落下するのを防止できる集水桝用の蓋体を提供する。【解決手段】集水桝用の蓋体１は、板状の本体部２と、本体部２の下面の少なくとも一部に設けられた補強層４とを備え、補強層４は、補強層４が設けられた本体部２の部分の分裂に抵抗することができる強度を備えた補強材からなる。本体部が割れたときに、補強層が本体部の分裂に抵抗する。これにより、本体部の一部が分裂して元の位置から脱落し、集水桝内に落下することを防止する。補強層により、本体部の一体的な形態が保持されることにより、割れた後でも、蓋体としての機能を維持することができる。【選択図】 図１
