Summary:To provide a resin composition which has dielectric characteristics in a high frequency region suitable for an interlayer insulation film for a circuit board and for the circuit board or the like aimed at a highly integrated arithmetic unit, and from which a cross-linked body with excellent tenacity can be obtained.SOLUTION: A cyclic olefin-based copolymer resin composition includes a cyclic olefin copolymer (A) and a maleimide compound (B). When the sum total of the cyclic olefin copolymer (A) and the maleimide compound (B) in the cyclic olefin-based copolymer resin composition is set to be 100 pts.mass, the content of the maleimide compound (B) is 1 to 70 pts.mass. The cyclic olefin copolymer (A) includes a cyclic olefin copolymer (m) including repeating units represented by general formulas (I), (III), (V), and the maleimide compound (B) includes a maleimide compound (1) having at least two maleimide groups in a molecule represented by general formula (VI).SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】高集積化演算装置に向けた回路基板用の層間絶縁フィルムおよび回路基板等に好適な高周波領域での誘電特性を有し、かつ、靭性に優れた架橋体を得ることが可能な樹脂組成物を提供する。【解決手段】環状オレフィン共重合体(A)と、マレイミド化合物(B)とを含む環状オレフィン系共重合体樹脂組成物であって、当該環状オレフィン系共重合体樹脂組成物中の前記環状オレフィン共重合体(A)とマレイミド化合物(B)の合計を100質量部とした場合に、マレイミド化合物(B)の含有量が1質量部以上70質量部以下であり、前記環状オレフィン共重合体(A)が、一般式(I)、(III)、(V)で表される繰り返し単位を含む環状オレフィン系共重合体(m)を含み、前記マレイミド化合物(B)が、一般式(VI)で表される分子内に少なくとも2つのマレイミド基を有するマレイミド化合物(l)を含む。【選択図】なし
