To provide a highly versatile clutch device capable of improving reliability of an operation of the clutch device, and giving a degree of freedom to a placement of a regulation member and the clutch device.SOLUTION: A clutch device J1 comprises a first clutch body 21, a second clutch body 22, and an energizing spring 23, used for furniture including a rod-like shaft member 2A. The first clutch body 21 is loosely fitted to the shaft member 2A, and the second clutch body 22 has a pivotal support part that pivotally supports the shaft member 2A in a relatively non-turnable and slidable manner with respect to the shaft member 2A. While an inclined plane 21A of the first clutch body 21 and an inclined plane 22A of the second clutch body 22 are in contact, the energizing spring 23 energizes the inclined planes 21A and 22A so as to be press-contacted to each other. In the second clutch body 22, a part including the inclined plane 22A and a boss part of the pivotal support part are disposed so as to be deviated in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20 【課題】クラッチ装置の動作の信頼性を向上できる、規制部材とクラッチ装置の配置に自由度を持たせることが可能な汎用性の高いクラッチ装置を提供する。【解決手段】棒状の軸部材２Ａを含む家具に用いる、第１クラッチ体２１、第２クラッチ体２２、及び付勢ばね２２からなるクラッチ装置Ｊ１である。第１クラッチ体２１は軸部材２Ａに遊嵌し、第２クラッチ体２２は、軸部材２Ａに対して相対回動不能かつスライド可能に、軸部材２Ａを軸支する軸支部を有する。第１クラッチ体２１の傾斜面２１Ａと第２クラッチ体２２の傾斜面２２Ａとが当接した状態で、傾斜面２１Ａ，２２Ａ同士を圧接するように付勢ばね２３で弾性付勢する。第２クラッチ体２２は、傾斜面２２Ａを有する部分と前記軸支部ボス部とを、軸方向にずらして配設した。【選択図】図２０
