Summary:To provide a parking state detection system and a parking state detection method capable of suppressing erroneous parking detection even for a vehicle giving a large influence to a magnetic field.SOLUTION: A parking state detection system 10 comprises a sensor device 11, a sensor device 12, and a management device 20. The sensor device 11 including a geomagnetic sensor 111 is arranged in a first parking space. The sensor device 12 including a geomagnetic sensor 121 is arranged in a second parking space close to the first parking space. A fluctuation detection unit 112 of the sensor device 11 detects a first fluctuation value from a fluctuation of an output value of the geomagnetic sensor 111. A fluctuation detection unit 122 of the sensor device 12 detects a second fluctuation value from a fluctuation of an output value of the geomagnetic sensor 121.
