Abstract | To provide a calibration method for a line scan camera that improves accuracy of an image.SOLUTION: A calibration method for a line scan camera includes main scanning direction calibration steps S11 to S13 and sub-scanning direction calibration steps S14 and S15. The main scan direction calibration steps S11 to S13 correct a lens aberration and a distortion of an image which is generated by a yaw in an attitude at installation of the line scan camera. The sub-scan direction calibration steps S14 and S15 correct a discrepancy between main and sub- scan resolutions and a distortion of an image which is generated by a roll in an attitude at installation of the line scan camera.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
