Abstract | To provide an endoscope suppressed in increase in diameter of the tip end thereof even with a long transmission cable for video signals obtained from an imaging part disposed on the tip end part, and also stabilize the operation of the imaging part to obtain high-resolution video signals.SOLUTION: An endoscope includes: a scope where a hard part is provided on the tip end of a flexible and long soft part; an imaging part housed in the hard part and having an image sensor; a transmission cable which is inserted into the scope and has a tip end conductively connected to the image sensor vie a substrate; and a voltage conversion element which is mounted on the substrate and outputs constant voltage to the image sensor with respect to voltage input into the transmission cable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
