To provide a muffler which can inhibit occurrence of airflow sounds while reducing sound pressure of standing waves in an outlet pipe.SOLUTION: An aspect of the disclosure includes a housing, an outlet pipe, and a cover covering the outlet pipe. The outlet pipe has: a first outlet end part opening in the housing; and at least one communication hole formed on an outer peripheral surface of the outlet pipe.
