Abstract | To provide a technology to diagnose whether an AD converter for detecting a battery voltage is operating normally.SOLUTION: There is provided a technology according to the present disclosure that generates a voltage higher than a normal battery voltage by alternately turning ON/OFF a balancing switch provided for adjusting the battery voltage, sets a predicted value (estimated value) of a bit string of an AD converter output to 1 by inputting that voltage to the AD converter, and performs full-scale diagnosis of the AD converter depending on whether this AD conversion result is set to 1 as expected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
