Abstract To provide a technology to diagnose whether an AD converter for detecting a battery voltage is operating normally.SOLUTION: There is provided a technology according to the present disclosure that generates a voltage higher than a normal battery voltage by alternately turning ON/OFF a balancing switch provided for adjusting the battery voltage, sets a predicted value (estimated value) of a bit string of an AD converter output to 1 by inputting that voltage to the AD converter, and performs full-scale diagnosis of the AD converter depending on whether this AD conversion result is set to 1 as expected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】電池電圧を検知するためのAD変換器が正常に動作しているか否かを診断する技術を提供する。【解決手段】本開示は、電池電圧を調整するために備えたバランシングスイッチを交互にON/OFFさせることで、通常の電池電圧より高い電圧を発生させ、その電圧をAD変換器に入力することで、AD変換器出力のビット列の予測値(推定値)を1とし、このAD変換結果が期待通り1にセットされているか否かによって、AD変換器のFull scale診断を実施する技術を提供する。【選択図】図2
