Abstract | To provide a farm work supporting system capable of reducing a calculation amount for routing.SOLUTION: A farm work supporting system (100) includes: a work vehicle (1) that is mounted with a positioning device (120) for measuring an own vehicle position representing a positioning point (203) and that can travel in a farm field (F); and a control device (160) for controlling an automatic travel of the work vehicle (1) in the farm field (F). The control device (160) has: an acquirement unit (1431) for acquiring, as shape information of the farm field (F), the positioning point (203) acquired from the positioning device (120) in a period when the work vehicle (1) is traveling along an outer periphery of the farm field (F); and a setting unit (1432) for setting, as a work area (210) where the work vehicle (1) can automatically travel, a quadrangular area based on the positioning point (203) that are arbitrarily selected from among a plurality of positioning points (203) in the shape information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
