To provide a water heater capable of preventing a set value of hot water supply temperature to be employed as a command value from being frequently changed even if a switching operation for operation mode is done from a communication terminal.SOLUTION: A water heater comprises: a water heater body; a control part; one or more dedicated remote controllers; and a storage part which stores, as a selected set value, one hot water supply temperature value selected based upon a predetermined condition, out of one or more hot water supply temperature set values input by the one or more dedicated remote controllers, together with information about a corresponding dedicated remote controller. The control part when changing the operation mode of the water heater body from an OFF mode to an ON mode in response to an operation through a communication terminal, employs the selected set value stored in the storage part as a command value to the water heater body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】 通信端末から運転モードの切り替え操作を行っても、指令値として採用される給湯温度の設定値が頻繁に変更されることを防止することができる給湯装置を提供する。【解決手段】 給湯装置本体と、制御部と、１または複数の専用リモコンと、１または複数の専用リモコンのそれぞれにおいて設定入力された１または複数の給湯温度設定値のうちの所定の条件に基づいて選択された１つの給湯温度設定値を、選択設定値として、対応する専用リモコンの情報とともに記憶する記憶部と、を備え、制御部は、通信端末からの操作に基づいて給湯装置本体の運転モードをオフモードからオンモードに切り替える場合、記憶部に記憶されている選択設定値を給湯装置本体への指令値とする。【選択図】 図４
