To provide an opening/closing device capable of effectively removing e.g., rainwater and dust adhering to a cable without enlarging the device.SOLUTION: A pulley case 41 is provided with a seal cover 46 for suppressing intrusion of foreign matters into inside the pulley case 41. The seal cover 46 is provided with a slit-shaped closing-side cable insertion hole 46c and an opening-side cable insertion hole 46d which communicate the inside and outside of the pulley case 41 and which are in sliding contact with a part of outer peripheries of a closing-side cable 18 and an opening-side cable 19. Thus, it is not necessary to provide a tubular seal mechanism or the like for removing rainwater, dust, or the like adhering to the cable so as to protrude outside the seal cover, and it is only necessary to provide the respective slit-like cable insertion holes 46c, 46d in the seal cover 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】装置の大型化を招くことなく、ケーブルに付着した雨水や埃等を効果的に除去することが可能な開閉装置の提供。【解決手段】プーリケース４１には、プーリケース４１の内部への異物の侵入を抑えるシールカバー４６が設けられ、シールカバー４６には、プーリケース４１の内外を連通するとともに、閉側ケーブル１８および開側ケーブル１９の外周の一部が摺接するスリット状の閉側ケーブル挿通孔４６ｃおよび開側ケーブル挿通孔４６ｄが設けられている。これにより、ケーブルに付着した雨水や埃等を除去する管状のシール機構等を、シールカバーの外側に突出させて設ける必要がなく、シールカバー４６にスリット状の各ケーブル挿通孔４６ｃ，４６ｄを設けるだけで済む。【選択図】図６
