Abstract To provide bismaleimide having both excellent dielectric characteristics (dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent) and excellent dimentional stability, and usable as an isolation layer of a printed circuit for a high-frequency band, an antenna substrate or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided bismaleimide using imide-extended diamine as a diamine component, which is bismaleimide in which the imide-extended diamine contains dimer diamine and fluorine-containing diamine. In this case, 'imide-extended diamine' is 'polyimide with amino groups at both ends' formed by reacting tetracarboxylic dianhydride with an excessive amount of diamine, followed by dewatering cyclization.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】優れた誘電特性(誘電率および誘電正接)および良好な寸法安定性を兼ね備え、高周波帯域用のプリント回路やアンテナ基板等の絶縁層として用いることができる、ビスマレイミドを提供する。【解決手段】ジアミン成分として、イミド延長されたジアミンを用いたビスマレイミドであって、イミド延長されたジアミンが、ダイマジアミンおよび含フッ素ジアミンを含むポリイミドであることを特徴とするビスマレイミド。ここで、「イミド延長されたジアミン」とは、テトラカルボン酸二無水物と、過剰量のジアミンとを反応させて脱水閉環した「両末端にアミノ基を有するポリイミド」のことである。【選択図】なし
