Abstract | To provide bismaleimide having both excellent dielectric characteristics (dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent) and excellent dimentional stability, and usable as an isolation layer of a printed circuit for a high-frequency band, an antenna substrate or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided bismaleimide using imide-extended diamine as a diamine component, which is bismaleimide in which the imide-extended diamine contains dimer diamine and fluorine-containing diamine. In this case, 'imide-extended diamine' is 'polyimide with amino groups at both ends' formed by reacting tetracarboxylic dianhydride with an excessive amount of diamine, followed by dewatering cyclization.SELECTED DRAWING: None
