Abstract | To provide a portable image formation device which can inhibit damage of electric connection parts when a detachable unit is attached while enabling the electric connection parts to be connected with each other properly in a state that the detachable unit is attached, and to provide a portable image formation device body.SOLUTION: A portable image formation device includes: a recording part 41 which records images on a recording material; and a device body which houses the recording part 41 therein. The portable image formation device further includes: a detachable unit 40 electrically connected to the side of the device body; compression means 12c which compresses the detachable unit 40 in a direction such that a unit side connection part of the detachable unit 40 attached to the device body moves toward a body side connection part 13; and a movable member 12 which may move holding the compression means 12c. The movable member 12 is configured to be movable between a first position in which the compression means 12c is located closest to the body side connection part 13 and a second position in which the compression means 12c is located furthest from the body side connection part 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
