Abstract | To provide a motor capable of restraining reduction of magnetic force of a magnet.SOLUTION: A motor includes a rotor having a medial axis J, and a stator facing the rotor in the radial direction. The rotor includes a rotor core 22a having multiple magnetic steel sheets laminated in the axial direction, a magnet placed on a face of the rotor core directing the radial direction, and a resin magnet holder 26 provided on the rotor core and holding the magnet. The rotor core has a first rotor core part 22 placed in a first region in the axial direction. The first rotor core part has a groove 28 recessed in the radial direction from a face of the first rotor core part directing the radial direction, and extends in the axial direction. The multiple magnetic steel sheets has a first magnetic steel sheet 41 having a recess constituting a part of the groove in the axial direction, in a face of the magnetic steel sheet directing the radial direction, and a second magnetic steel sheet 42 having a closing part overlapping and covering the recess when viewing from the axial direction.
