Summary:To provide an abnormality detection device that can promptly detect the abnormality of a drive circuit.SOLUTION: A control circuit unit 3 detects the change of phase of a Hall signal Sh in which the phase changes in response to the revolution of a rotor of a motor 20, and times the change of phase of the Hall signal Sh according to the detection timing of it. In addition, the control circuit unit 3 compares the result of a first timing with the result of a second timing that is obtained after the result of the first timing.
