Summary: | To simplify a mechanism which controls horizontal bridge balance and also to contribute to acceleration of precise fast machining by a machine tool such as a jig grinder by electrically detecting a main shaft position and balancing a horizontal bridge under NC control.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a lateral bridge balance device that has a pair of air cylinders for supporting a horizontal bridge, supporting slidably a main shaft head of a gate type machine tool having an NC control part, arranged on both end sides of the lateral bridge, and holds the lateral bridge horizontally by adjusting air pressure sent to each air cylinder. The lateral bridge balance device comprises a main shaft position-air pressure conversion means which is arranged between a pressure source and the pair of air cylinders, and supplies air pressure corresponding to a main shaft position to the respective air cylinders. The main shaft position-air pressure conversion means has a main shaft position-voltage conversion part which outputs a voltage corresponding to a main shaft position detected by an NC control part and an electropneumatic regulator which adjusts the air pressure sent to the respective air cylinders in proportion to the voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】横架バランスを制御する機構を簡略化すると共に、主軸位置の検出及び横架のバランスをNC制御により電気的に行うことでジグ研削盤等の工作機械による精密・高速加工の促進に寄与する。【解決手段】NC制御部を有する門型工作機械の主軸頭を摺動可能に支持する横架の両端側に該横架を支持する一対のエアシリンダを配設し、該各エアシリンダに送る空気圧を調整することにより前記横架を水平に保持する横架バランス装置において、圧力源と上記一対のエアシリンダ間に介設されて主軸位置に対応する空気圧を上記各エアシリンダに供給する主軸位置・空気圧変換手段を備え、該主軸位置・空気圧変換手段は、前記NC制御部により検出した主軸位置に応じた電圧を出力する主軸位置・電圧変換部と、該電圧に比例して前記各エアシリンダに送る空気圧を調整する電空レギュレータを有する。【選択図】 図3 |
