To provide a vacuum cleaner preventing fine dust from flowing out even when a dust collecting device turns upside down.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes a dust collecting device 14 attachable to or detachable from a cleaner body (not shown) housing an electric blower (not shown) and separating dust from dust-containing air sucked by the electric blower to collect the dust. The dust collecting device 14 includes: a second separation part 122 provided with a separation cylinder 121 separating fine dust not fully separated in a first separation part 111 which separates dust from air, and the air by a centrifugal separation system; a fine dust transfer part 125 which is communicated with the separation cylinder 121 and to which the fine dust separated in the second separation part 122 is transferred; and a fine dust storage part 19 which is communicated with the fine dust transfer part 125 and stores the fine dust. The fine dust storage part 19 comprises an upper fine dust storage part 130 communicated with a lower fine dust storage part 129 mounted on the lower part of the fine dust transfer part 125 and mounted on the upper part of the fine dust transfer part 125. Even when the dust collecting device 14 turns upside down during cleaning operation, the dust in the lower fine dust storage part 129 only moves to the upper fine dust storage part 130 and is prevented from flowing out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】集塵装置が上下逆になっても細塵が外部へ流出しない電気掃除機を提供する。【解決手段】電動送風機（図示せず）を収容した掃除機本体（図示せず）に着脱可能で、電動送風機で吸引された含塵空気から塵埃を分離して捕集する集塵装置１４を備え、集塵装置１４は、塵埃と空気を分離する第１分離部１１１で分離しきれなかった細塵と空気とを遠心分離方式で分離する分離筒１２１を備えた第２分離部１２２と、分離筒１２１と連通し第２分離部１２２で分離された細塵が送られる細塵移送部１２５と、細塵移送部１２５と連通し細塵を収容する細塵収容部１９を備え、細塵収容部１９を細塵移送部１２５の下方に設けた下方細塵収容部１２９と連通し細塵移送部１２５の上方に設けた上方細塵収容部１３０で構成したもので、掃除作業時に集塵装置１４が上下逆になっても下方細塵収容部１２９内の塵埃が上方細塵収容部１３０に移動するだけで外部に流出することがない。【選択図】図３
