Abstract To easily configure a battery case having a water detection and water discharge function without increasing the number of parts.SOLUTION: A battery case 18 of an electric vehicle includes a drain hole 31i that discharges water inside to the outside, and a water detecting means 37 disposed near the drain hole 31i, and at least a part of the upper surface of the case bottom wall 31a of the battery case 18 is inclined downward toward the drain hole 31i, and therefore, the downward slope of the upper surface of the case bottom wall 31a of the battery case 18 can be easily formed at the time of die casting without increasing the number of parts, and the water that has entered the inside of the battery case 18 is smoothly guided toward the drain hole 31i, and can be reliably detected by the water detecting means 37 and can be quickly discharged from the drain hole 31i.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】 水検知および水排出機能を有するバッテリケースを、部品点数を増加させずに簡単に構成可能にする。【解決手段】 電動車両のバッテリケース18は、内部の水を外部に排出するドレン孔31iと、ドレン孔31iの近傍に配置された水検知手段37とを備え、バッテリケース18のケース底壁31a上面の少なくとも一部はドレン孔31iに向かって下り傾斜しているので、バッテリケース18のケース底壁31a上面の下り傾斜を部品点数を増加させることなくダイキャスト時に容易に成形できるだけでなく、バッテリケース18の内部に浸入した水をドレン孔31iに向かってスムーズに案内し、水検知手段37で確実に検知するとともにドレン孔31iから速やかに排出することができる。【選択図】 図7
