Abstract To achieve arrangement and routing of a relay node even if a shield or a place at which the arrangement of the relay node is impossible exists.SOLUTION: The design method and system for radio sensor network includes: a candidate calculation process for calculating the number of relay nodes and candidates of arrangement thereof for minimizing the number of the relay nodes; a simulation process for executing the simulation of a power consumption and a data arrival rate of a radio sensor network based on the candidates; and an optimization process for optimizing the radio sensor network on the basis of the candidate, the power consumption and the data arrival rate of the radio sensor network, and in the optimization process, calculates a combination of the arrangement of the relay node for minimizing a maximum of the power consumption of the relay node, routing of the radio sensor network and the re-transmission frequency of data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】遮蔽物や、中継ノードの配置が不可能な場所が存在しても、中継ノードの配置やルーティングを最適化することができるようにする。【解決手段】中継ノードの数を最小とする中継ノードの数及び配置の候補を算出する候補算出工程と、候補に基づいて、無線センサネットワークの消費電力量及びデータ到達率のシミュレーションを行うシミュレーション工程と、候補と、無線センサネットワークの消費電力量及びデータ到達率とに基づいて、無線センサネットワークの最適化を行う最適化工程とを含み、最適化工程においては、中継ノードの消費電力量の最大値を最小化する中継ノードの配置、無線センサネットワークのルーティング及びデータの再送回数の組み合わせを算出する。【選択図】図1
