To provide an image forming system allowing a terminal device to easily perform print processing.SOLUTION: An image forming system 1 holds a terminal device 3 over an image forming device 2 in an AP mode, and causes an NFC 8 to acquire an SSID and a password. The terminal device 3 connected to the image forming device 2 by a wireless LAN identifies the image forming device 2 serving as a target device on the basis of a response to broadcast, acquires an IP address of the image forming device 2, transmits a print job to the image forming device, and causes the image forming device to print the job. This allows the image forming system 1 to cause the image forming device 2 to print the job without causing a user of the terminal device 3 to do troublesome settings and the like about the wireless LAN.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】端末装置から容易に印刷処理を行い得るようにする。【解決手段】画像形成システム１は、ＡＰモードの画像形成装置２に端末装置３をかざし、ＮＦＣ８によりＳＳＩＤ及びパスワードを取得させる。端末装置３は、無線ＬＡＮにより画像形成装置２に接続し、ブロードキャストに対する応答を基に、対象装置である画像形成装置２を特定して該画像形成装置２のＩＰアドレスを取得し、印刷ジョブを送信して印刷させる。これにより画像形成システム１は、端末装置３のユーザに無線ＬＡＮに関する煩わしい設定作業等をさせること無く、画像形成装置２により印刷させることができる。【選択図】図１
