To provide a massage unit whose size can be reduced and which is capable of significantly changing a projection amount of a massaging element.SOLUTION: A massage unit includes a massaging element and a massaging drive mechanism that causes the massaging element to perform massaging operation. The massaging drive mechanism includes a massaging shaft for supporting an arm equipped with the massaging element and a massaging motor that rotates the massaging shaft. The massage unit further includes a first member having a first bearing for rotatably supporting a left end part of the massaging shaft, a second member having a second bearing for rotatably supporting a right end part of the massaging shaft, a third member having a third bearing for rotatably supporting an intermediate part of the massaging shaft, and a base member.
