Abstract To allow for performing processes of reading optical codes and determining reading stability while minimizing an increase in conveyance system cost and preventing deterioration in work efficiency.SOLUTION: A CMOS 112 captures images. A processor 122 reads an optical code contained in image data captured by the CMOS 112 and outputs a signal upon a successful read of the optical code.
