Abstract To provide an injector 20 for suppressing the wear of a contact area between a needle 50 and a movable core 42.SOLUTION: The injector 20 includes a housing 30, a fixed core 41, the movable core 42, a coil 44, the needle 50, and a spring 61. A shaft part 51 has a first protruded part 53 on the side of a valve part 52 and a second protruded part 54 on the side of the fixed core while holding the movable core therebetween. A space between a third face 421 as the face of the valve part side of the movable core and a fourth face 422 as the face of the fixed core side of the movable core along the axial direction is smaller than a space between a first face 531 as the face of the fixed core side of the first protruded part and a second face 541 as the face of the valve part side of the second protruded part in the axial direction AX.
