Abstract | To provide a Fourier transform type spectrophotometer capable of reducing jitter noise even if an A/D converter for converting a detection signal from a detector from analog to digital at a natural period is used.SOLUTION: A Fourier transform type spectrophotometer includes an A/D converter 3 for converting a detection signal from a detector 2 from analog to digital at a first natural period. A signal input part (PLD 4) generates an AD conversion start signal based on occurrence of a fringe signal used for controlling an interferometer 1 and a clock signal synchronized with the A/D conversion start signal, and inputs them to the A/D converter 3. An operation part 61 performs an operation using a Fourier transform on the basis of a detection signal converted from analog to digital by the A/D converter 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
