Abstract To estimate the temperature where polycrystal metal deforms.SOLUTION: The method for evaluating polycrystal metal includes: a crystal orientation measuring step of determining the crystal orientation based on the characteristics of back scattering of an electron beam applied to a sample of polycrystal metal; an orientation difference parameter calculation step of calculating the orientation difference parameter for regions around the crystal grain boundary based on the orientation difference of the crystal orientation; a standardization step of calculating reference data obtained by standardizing the orientation difference parameter; and a temperature estimation step of estimating the temperature at which the sample deforms from the correlation between the reference data calculated in advance and the temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】多結晶金属の変形温度を推定する。【解決手段】多結晶金属の試料に照射された電子線の後方散乱の特性に基づいて結晶方位を求める結晶方位測定工程と、前記結晶方位の方位差に基づいて結晶粒界近傍の方位差パラメータを算出する方位差パラメータ算出工程と、前記方位差パラメータを規格化した基準データを算出する規格化工程と、予め算出された前記基準データと温度との相関に基づいて試料の変形温度を推定する温度推定工程とを有する。【選択図】図6
