Abstract | To provide a display that can improve visibility of a display image.SOLUTION: A display comprises: a first display panel that includes a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a first liquid crystal layer held between the first substrate and the second substrate; a second display panel that includes a third substrate, a fourth substrate facing the third substrate, and a second liquid crystal layer held between the third substrate and the fourth substrate; a polarizing plate that is located between the second substrate and the third substrate and has an absorption axis for absorbing linear polarization; and light source units that face a first end of the first display panel and a second end of the second display panel, respectively. The first liquid crystal layer and the second liquid crystal layer each include stripe-like polymers and liquid crystal molecules.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
