Summary:To provide a communication system and a receiver unit capable of realizing communication by single carrier system, while using a relatively inexpensive receiver unit.SOLUTION: A communication system includes a space side transmission station device, and a ground side reception station device, where the space side transmission station device sends the data, becoming the transmission object to the ground side reception station device, while modulating to single carrier signals, the ground side reception station device receives the signals arriving from the space side transmission station device and outputs while converting into digital signals, and accumulates and records the digital signals as waveform information. The communication system reads the recorded waveform information, at a symbol rate different from that sent from the space side transmission station device, executes demodulation processing based on the waveform information, and reproduces the data becoming the transmission object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】比較的安価な受信機を用いつつ、シングルキャリア方式による通信を実現できる通信システム、及び受信装置を提供する。【解決手段】宇宙側送信局装置と、地上側受信局装置とを備え、宇宙側送信局装置は地上側受信局装置への送信対象となるデータを、シングルキャリア信号に変調して送出し、地上側受信局装置は、宇宙側送信局装置から到来する信号を受信してディジタル信号に変換して出力し、当該ディジタル信号を波形情報として蓄積して記録する。そして当該記録された波形情報を、宇宙側送信局装置が送出したシンボルレートとは異なるシンボルレートで読み出して、当該波形情報に基づく復調処理を行い、送信対象となったデータを再生する通信システムである。【選択図】図1
