Summary:To provide a head-up display that efficiently displays a specific color with high luminance with a compact and simple configuration.SOLUTION: A head-up display comprises: a light source unit that arranges at least one or more first light source elements emitting light in a first luminescent color and at least one or more second light source elements emitting light in a second luminescent color different from the first luminescent color side by side in a first direction; a first lens that makes the light emitted from the light source unit incident on an incident surface and emits the light from an emission surface; a diffusion member that is arranged on the emission surface side of the first lens; a spatial optical modulation element that makes light incident on the incident surface, the light emitted from the light source unit and transmitting through the first lens and diffusion member, modulates the light according to image information, and emits the light from the emission surface; and an optical unit that projects the light emitted from the spatial optical modulation element.
