Abstract | To provide a process for producing a powder-type bacteriostatic agent for food in which the acid odor and odor scattering is suppressed.SOLUTION: A process for producing a powder-type bacteriostatic agent is disclosed. This production process comprises a step of adding and mixing liquid edible oil/fat at a predetermined rate continuously or discontinuously to a powder-type raw material containing acetic acid or the like. Further, the production process may comprise a step of adding and mixing liquid edible oil/fat continuously or discontinuously at a predetermined speed to a powder-type raw material not containing acetic acid or the like, and a step of mixing the mixture obtained by the addition and mixing step with a powder-type raw material containing acetic acid or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
