Abstract To provide a bus communication system suppressing a deteriorated communication speed of the bus communication system having a single-line RZ signal transmission/reception method to enable securing a recessive period.SOLUTION: Each monitor circuit 7, 7a, etc. detects a time from when a signal transmission source master 2 or each slave 3a,...3z transmits a signal to a bus N to when the voltage of the bus N becomes a predetermined voltage, or detects the voltage of the bus N at the timing after the lapse of a predetermined time after transmitting the signal to the bus N.
