Abstract | To provide a robot system that can reduce a time required for production and can save a space even if the number of exchange tools is increased in order to handle various types of work-pieces for assembly.SOLUTION: In a robot system comprising a transfer device for transferring a tray on which an object is placed to a predetermined position, the tray is equipped with a tool stocker that holds an exchange tool; the transfer device is controlled to transfer the tray to a predetermined position so as to attach/detach the exchange tool to/from a robot arm on the tray; and the robot arm is controlled to grip an object using the exchange tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
