Abstract | To provide an undercoat foil for an energy storage device electrode that provides a low-resistance energy storage device and is easy to control the finish during manufacture, an energy storage device electrode including the undercoat foil, and an energy storage device.SOLUTION: An undercoat foil for an energy storage device electrode includes a current collector substrate and an undercoat layer formed on at least one surface of the current collector substrate, and the undercoat layer includes carbon nanotubes and a dispersant, and the infrared absorbance derived from the absorption of the carbonyl group of the organic component included in the undercoat layer measured by the P-polarization method for the undercoat layer is 0.017 or less, and the undercoat foil for an energy storage device electrode is used to produce an electrode structure with the undercoat foil by ultrasonic welding.SELECTED DRAWING: None
