Abstract | To provide a refrigerator which is relatively easily assembled during manufacture and can reduce a load of a second rail on a drive mechanism even if a first rail is displaced with respect to a refrigerator body because of aged deterioration or a weight change due to increased or decreased contents.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a refrigerator body having a storage compartment, a drawer to open and close the storage compartment, and a sliding mechanism to slide the drawer in an opening and closing direction with respect to the storage compartment. The sliding mechanism includes a first rail 40 attached to the refrigerator body, a second rail 50 mounted on the drawer and configured to be slide with respect to the first rail, and a drive mechanism 70 mounted on the first rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
