Abstract To provide a refrigerator which is relatively easily assembled during manufacture and can reduce a load of a second rail on a drive mechanism even if a first rail is displaced with respect to a refrigerator body because of aged deterioration or a weight change due to increased or decreased contents.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a refrigerator body having a storage compartment, a drawer to open and close the storage compartment, and a sliding mechanism to slide the drawer in an opening and closing direction with respect to the storage compartment.
