Summary:To provide a display device in which display qualities can be improved.SOLUTION: The display device in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first substrate including a first conductive layer; a second substrate including a base body having a first lower surface opposing to the first substrate and a first upper surface opposite to the first lower surface; a display functional layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a second conductive layer disposed on the first upper surface; a third conductive layer disposed on the first upper surface and electrically connected to the second conductive layer; a fourth conductive layer covering the third conductive layer and having a light-shielding property; a first through-hole disposed in the base body; a connection material electrically connecting the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer; and an insulation material having a light-shielding property and overlapping the first through-hole and the connection material.
