Abstract | To provide a surveying device and a surveying device system with which it is possible to locate a measurement object at high speed.SOLUTION: The surveying device comprises: a distance measuring light emission unit for emitting distance measuring light; a light-receiving unit 22 for receiving reflected distance measuring light that is the distance measuring light retroreflected by a measurement object and background light that enters coaxially with the reflected distance measuring light; a distance measurement unit for receiving the reflected distance measuring light and measuring the distance; an image capturing unit for receiving background light separated from the distance measuring light and capturing a background image; an optical axis deflection unit 37 for deflecting the optical axis of the distance measuring light and the optical axis of the background light integrally; and an arithmetic control unit for controlling the optical axis deflection unit. The optical axis deflection unit includes a pair of disc prisms in which a plurality of prism columns are arrayed in parallel, a rotation drive unit for rotating the disc prisms individually, and an emission direction detection unit for detecting the angle of rotation of each disc prism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
