Abstract | To provide a downsized cam device capable of significantly reducing a pressure angle in a lift area of a cam to attain smooth operation, and provide machinery, a component, a bearing, a vehicle, and a machine manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A cam profile of a cam (20) has, at one end in a circumferential direction, a rotary end (28) where a cam shaft (22) cannot rotate in a reverse direction by a cam follower (30), and from the rotary end (28) to an opening end (29) being the other end in the circumferential direction, a cam surface (21) contacting with the cam follower (30) is provided. A distance between the other end in the circumferential direction of the cam surface (21) and the cam shaft (22) is made longer than a distance between the cam shaft (22) and the rotary end (28).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
