Abstract | To provide an ink set capable of achieving high scratch resistance and suppression of changes in hand feeling when an image is formed on a fabric, having high maintenance properties and applicable to image formation on a recording paper.SOLUTION: An ink set is to be used for forming an image on a recording medium including a fabric and recording paper, and comprises aqueous ink for inkjet recording and a treating agent. The aqueous ink comprises a pigment, a resin and water, while the treating agent comprises a resin and water, satisfying the following conditions (1) to (3). They are: (1) 0.9≤(B+C)/A, (2) 3≤A≤9, and (3) B<9, where A represents a compounding amount (wt.%) of the pigment in the entire amount of the aqueous ink, B represents a compounding amount (wt.%) of the resin in the entire amount of the aqueous ink, and C represents a compounding amount (wt.%) of the resin in the entire amount of the treating agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
