Summary:To provide a technique capable of restraining excessive current limitation.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack having multiple cells, a current detector for detecting the current value of the fuel cell stack, a monitoring part for monitoring the voltage per cell in the fuel cell stack, a control section for calculating a current limit voltage by multiplying a previously registered limit resistance value and the current value, and limiting the output from the fuel cell stack, upon detecting the fact that the voltage per cell has lowered equal to or below the current limit voltage. The control section increases the flow rate of anode gas supplied to the fuel cell stack, when the voltage per cell has lowered to a predetermined threshold voltage, calculates the limit resistance value according to the voltage value and the current value when the voltage per cell is stabilized, at a moment in time when a predetermined time elapsed in a state where the anode gas flow rate is increased, and updates the limit resistance value when the calculated limit resistance value is larger than the registered limit resistance value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】過度に電流制限を行う事を抑制可能な技術を提供する。【解決手段】燃料電池システムは、複数のセルを有する燃料電池スタックと、燃料電池スタックの電流値を検出する電流検出部と、燃料電池スタックにおけるセル当り電圧を監視する監視部と、予め登録された制限抵抗値と電流値とを乗算することによって電流制限電圧を算出し、セル当り電圧が電流制限電圧以下に低下したことを検知した場合に、燃料電池スタックの出力を制限する制御部と、を備える。制御部は、セル当り電圧が予め定められた閾値電圧に低下した場合に、燃料電池スタックに供給するアノードガス流量を増加させ、アノードガス流量を増加した状態で予め定めた時間が経過した時点において、セル当り電圧が安定した場合、セル当り電圧が安定した際の電圧値および電流値に応じて制限抵抗値を算出し、算出された制限抵抗値が登録されていた制限抵抗値よりも大きい場合、制限抵抗値を更新する。【選択図】図3
