Abstract | To provide a stop position detection system for performing highly reliable home position stop determination.SOLUTION: A home position stop sensor 50 detects a distance to a front end of a train. A presence/absence detection sensor 51 is arranged on a side of the train to detect the presence/absence of a train on a track coming into contact with a platform. A data processing device 7 determines that the train is located at the home stop position and outputs a determination result to an external device 60 in the case that the train is within a predetermined range from the distance to the train, detected by the home position stop sensor 50, that the train is in a stop state, and that the presence/absence detection sensor 51 detects the presence/absence of the train.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
