Abstract To provide a high-pressure fuel pump on which a suction valve is mounted for reducing noise while maintaining strength reliability.SOLUTION: The high-pressure fuel pump comprises: a suction valve which opens/closes a channel; a seat part where the suction valve is seated; a stopper part which regulates movements of the suction valve toward an opposite side of the seat part in valve opening; and a rod which is configured separately from the suction valve and energizes the suction valve towards the stopper part.
