Abstract | To provide inkjet recording method and apparatus which determine a change in a state of a porous body and can perform appropriate treatment according to the state of the porous body, even when the porous body is repeatedly used for absorption of a reaction liquid for thickening ink and a liquid content from an image with ink.SOLUTION: In an inkjet recording method, when a porous body of a liquid absorption member is repeatedly brought into contact with an image to perform liquid absorption treatment from the image, an air permeability check step of determining a state of air permeability of the porous body from contact information including the number of contacts of the porous body with the image and the contact pressure therewith and a parameter inherent to the porous body is performed, and appropriate treatment of the porous body is performed according to determination of the state of the air permeability of the porous body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】インク増粘用の反応液とインクによる画像からの液体分の吸収に多孔質体を繰り返し用いた場合においても、多孔質体の状態の変化を判断し、多孔質体の状態に応じて適切な処理を行うことが可能なインクジェット記録方法及び装置を提供すること。【解決手段】画像に液吸収部材の多孔質体を繰り返し当接させて、画像からの液吸収処理を行う場合に、多孔質体の画像への当接回数と当接圧を含む当接情報と多孔質体に関する固有パラメータから多孔質体の通気性の状態を判断する通気性チェック工程を行い、多孔質体の通気性の状態の判断に応じて適切な多孔質体の処理を行う。【選択図】図1 |
