To materialize a chair that can more adequately hold a sitting person's legs at the time of motion accompanied by body twisting in a manner that one of the left and right part of the lower half of the body, particularly the hip or the thigh, rises and the other part lowers.SOLUTION: In the front part of a seat 5, a deformation part 5X is provided that is vertically deformed by receiving a seating load. Also, the seat 5 is held in a rockable manner on all sides relative to a support base. As a result, coupled with the deformation movement of the deformation part provided in the front part of the seat, the rocking on all sides of the seat relative to the support base can synergistically mitigate a pressure on the thigh and the hip, while adequately maintaining the support function of the seat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 40 【課題】下半身、特に臀部や大腿部の左右一方が上がり他方が下がるように体をねじる動作を伴う時に着座者の脚をより適切に支持できる椅子を実現する。【解決手段】座５の前部に、着座荷重を受けて上下方向に形状を変える変形部５Ｘを設けるとともに、座５を支持基部に対して前後左右に揺動可能に支持したことにより、座の前部に設けた変形部の変形動作と相俟って、座が支持基部に対して前後左右に揺動することで、座のサポート機能を適切に維持しつつ、大腿部や臀部の圧迫を相乗的に緩和することができる。【選択図】図４０
