Summary:To provide a technology that achieves downsizing of a device when an ink passage is formed.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a recording head which discharges an ink onto a recording medium to make records; a carriage which is equipped with the recording head and reciprocates; first housing means which houses the ink supplied to the recording head; and passage forming means which forms an ink supply passage for supplying the ink to the recording head. The passage forming means includes: a first tube extending in a direction of reciprocating of the carriage; a second tube connected with the first housing means; and a first connection member which connects the first tube with the second tube.
