Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable tracking of an on-rail position continuously and reliably for each model train in a model train system.SOLUTION: In a model train system 1, an on-rail state of each section is determined from detection results of the flowing of a rail 10 of each section, and the on-rail position of the model train 20 is determined in section unit based on this on-rail state. Namely, when a top on-rail section is a state of the on-rail and the next section changes from a non-on-rail to the on-rail, it is considered that the model train 20 comes in the next section and the top on-rail section is changed to the next section. Also, when the top on-rail section is changed from the on-rail to the non-on-rail while the next section is in the non-on-rail, it is considered that the model train 20 is "lost" and the on-rail section is updated to the on-rail, and also the top on-rail section is maintained as it is and a predetermined abnormality notification processing is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
