Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a decrease in rotor speed when a rotor passes between adjacent transfer bodies, in a constitution in which a plurality of transfer bodies are supported.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus comprises a transfer drum that supports and rotates a plurality of transfer bodies subjected to discharge of ink from a recording head and formation of an image, and a rotor that can be brought into pressure contact with the plurality of transfer bodies to apply a process liquid thereto.
