PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device that can prevent light from being irradiated on nutritious liquid.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device 11 comprises: a nutritious liquid storage part 15 which is capable of mounting a planting board 13, on which plants 12 are planted, thereon, and storing nutritious liquid into which roots of the plants 12 are immersed; a light source 26 which irradiates plants 12 with light; and a light shielding cover member 41 which is capable of moving between a closed position covering a non-mounting region 29 in the nutritious liquid storage part 15 where the planting board 13 is not mounted and an open position where the non-mounting region 29 is not covered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】養液に光が照射されることを抑制できる植物栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】植物栽培装置１１は、植物１２が定植された定植板１３を載置可能であって植物１２の根が浸される養液を貯留可能な養液貯留部１５と、植物１２に光を照射する光源２６と、養液貯留部１５における定植板１３が載置されない非載置領域２９を覆う閉塞位置と非載置領域２９を覆わない開放位置との間で移動可能な遮光性のカバー部材４１とを備える。【選択図】図１
